The Questions

Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they are about?

πŸ€” I really don’t do that… I mean, I do have some authors whose works I love a bit more than the rest but before requesting a book , I always check out the synopsis and the genres it belongs to. I am really picky and don’t just request a book because of the author. Sure, the author may be a factor but there has to be more substance for me to request a book.

What makes you want to request a book on NetGalley?

Okay, so here is the deal πŸ™ˆ (Don’t judge your gal!!) On Netgalley, I usually request a book because of it’s cover πŸ™ˆ Now, now, I have reasons! There are thousands of books listed on Netgalley and I seriously don’t have the time to go through the synopsis of them all, so yes Cover does play a very important role in helping me decide whether I request the book or not. Then there is the synopsis. So it’s cover+synopsis.

If you could create one badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?

Umm… I will go with Michelle on this one. Badges for genres πŸ€” They would be really interesting!

Wish For It

What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?

This isn’t a book that is on Netgalley but I am really dying to read ‘We Hunt The Flame’ by Hafsah Faizal! This comes out in May 2019.

Keeping in line with the tag’s theme, another book that I am very excited to read, that is from Netgalley is ‘White Stag’ by Kara Barbieri.

I Tag…

So I really have little to no idea about how many of you use Netgalley or Edelweiss, so if you do use either, consider yourself tagged πŸ’•

  1. Cover and synopsis is something I look at as well! I’m SUPER picky with Netgalley now, so the synopsis and cover (bonus points for a favorite author) holds huge weight if I request or not.

I have White Stag as an ARC and I’ve heard good things about it so far. I hope you get approved for it if you haven’t yet!

    1. I guess the only thing I have been focusing on lately are the cover and synopsis, because of my very huge immediate TBR.

I did get approved for White Stag! It was quite shocked as I never get approved for such hyped books 🀣 Really looking forward to reading it!
